Silver Island Yoga is a retreat which is located only a few miles away from the Athens Coast. The yoga retreat derives its name from the shimmering rows of olive trees on a sixty acre farm-land. The resort is run by two sisters Lissa and Claire and is a family owned business for more than 50 years. The resort is surrounded by a lush property and has six rooms which are divided between main house and a villa, 2 white houses which can accommodate 12 people.

All the accommodations have spectacular views of the Mediterranean sea. The rooms are on shared basis i.e. solo travelers will have a twin room shared with other guest of the same gender.

Guests arrive  to the pebbled beach by boats. They enjoy yoga sessions at the sunset overlooking the ocean, under the guidance of experienced yoga gurus. The hotel also encourages its guests to participate in snorkeling and kayaking in order to take the advantage of the beautiful Mediterranean seascape.
The main house dates back to the nineteenth century. There is a live fireplace where guests can relax. They have a collection of books too.

Meals are completely organic and are from the local farms. These are inspired by the Mediterranean diet. Meals are served communally under the shades of trees. Guests can avail fresh coffee and healthy snacks during any time of the day.

The resort arranges for any special diet request on prior notification. You can also tell them if you have any food allergy at least 48 hours before your arrival.
