Located in Bangalore, India, Shreyas Yoga retreat is one among the top yoga retreats around the world. Major emphasis is given on yogi style of living which includes meditation, yoga, mantra chanting, vegan and organic food, non-alcoholic life, farming and community service. It provides luxurious accommodation which includes typical yoga retreat facilities. Voluntary activities in organic gardens, serving food to village children, cooking are all a part of Shreyas Yoga Retreat.

Shreyas also has an on-site spa facility which includes rejuvenation therapies with therapists from Thailand, India and Indonesia.

Accommodations are provided in 14 rooms. There are cottages and tented rooms which can accommodate 25 guests on shared basis.

A day at Shreyas starts with  group Yoga session where major emphasis is given to Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa. It also includes deep breathing practice, meditation and relaxation sessions. The classes are customized according to the experience, competence and interest of guests. The session ends with morning meditation practice.

If you are interested in walking or running, they have a shady 3 km pathway which runs through the retreat.

After the morning meditation is over, guests are provided fresh juices made from the hand-picked fruits from the garden. During winters, you can enjoy breakfast in the sun in the sprawling gardens. If you are on diet or have allergy with any specific food, you would have to tell them in advance.
